I’ve seen Anna and Chelsie a few times now and as a very nervous patient they could not have been more supportive. They make you feel very relaxed and safe, always happy to see you and welcoming. The reception staff are also always lovely! Highly recommend :)

Following graduation from Leeds University in 2004 Tom worked as the lead Associate at successful Dental Practices in Surrey and the North West before joining Smilemakers in 2012.
After obtaining the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009 his interest in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry has led him to undertake advanced postgraduate training under the guidance of world-leading clinicians in these fields.
Tom has a Distinction Masters Degree in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Manchester and is an active member of both the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dental implants are titanium posts placed into the jawbone to replace missing tooth roots. Once integrated with the bone, they provide a strong foundation for replacement teeth such as crowns, bridges or implant-retained dentures.
Treatment begins with a consultation and personalised plan. Implants are then placed under local anaesthetic, followed by a healing period to allow them to fuse with the bone (osseointegration). Once healed, your replacement teeth are fitted.
With good oral hygiene and regular dental care, implants can last many years and often a lifetime. The crown or prosthetic on top may require occasional maintenance, similar to natural teeth.
Most adults with good overall and oral health are suitable candidates. Your dentist will assess your teeth, gums and jawbone to ensure implants are right for you and recommend any preparatory treatments if needed.
The placement itself is performed under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn’t feel pain during the procedure. Some mild tenderness or swelling afterwards is normal, but typically manageable with simple pain relief.
